Sarah Burke

Sarah Burke is a Consultant in the Energy Practice, based in London. She manages global senior leadership and technical expert appointments.

With a strong background in Oil & Gas, she leads Odgers’ expertise in the energy transition, including, Renewable Energy, Cleantech, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors combined, Sarah returned to Odgers Berndtson in 2024, having previously worked there from 2008 to 2012. She brings extensive in-house Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leadership experience, having spent eight years with Eni, a global energy major, and two years with CB&I, an international EPC contractor.

Sarah began her career as a Wireline Field Engineer for Schlumberger in Alberta, Canada. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology and is a member of the Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
