Applications for the 2025 programme are now open.
How to Apply
Stage 1: Applying for CEOx1Day
Eligible* students must complete email applications to infodk@odgersberndtson.com, which will be reviewed by executive search experts at Odgers Berndtson.
The application will need to include:
- A one pager, answering the given questions
- Your CV
Evaluation: Applications will be evaluated on the breadth of relevant work, volunteer or extra-curricular experience, and the quality of your written answers.
Deadline: Applications close on Monday 21st of April, 2025

Stage 2: Selected candidates
Selected candidates will be invited to meet with two partners, Søren Rysholt and Jens Beck, along with key team members at the Copenhagen office of Odgers Berndtson. During this session, the partners and the team will assess your application and CV, engaging in discussions geared towards offering valuable insights into your qualifications and potential.
Stage 3: LeaderFit assessment
Selected candidates will be invited to undergo a LeaderFit assessment, which will be followed by a consultation with a partner from Odgers Berndtson. During this session, the partner will review the assessment results with you and evaluate your personal traits and behavioral patterns.
Online assessments take place in May 2025
Stage 4: Finalists are informed of the CEO they will shadow
Applicants who are successfully selected following the assessment will be paired with a CEO/organisation and can begin to prepare for this unique and fantastic experience.
