He also leads the firm's Human Resources Practice in Australia and New Zealand, responsible for Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior People and Culture leadership appointments for the firm's clients across all industry sectors.
Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Alistair led the Sydney office for a boutique executive search and leadership advisory firm, with overall responsibilities for the firm's consulting and research teams. He also led the firm's CEO and Board Advisory Practice, supporting various private and public clients with C-Suite and board appointments.
Alistair has worked with board leadership and senior human resources executives across various industries, with a track record leading CEO and top team succession, leadership advisory and assessment, and executive search projects. He also brings more than 10 years of relevant experience and insights from the higher education sector, including as a former lecturer and researcher in Classics at the University of Oxford.
Alistair holds undergraduate degrees in Classics and Law from the University of Melbourne, and a master’s degree and doctorate (D.Phil.) from the University of Oxford.
