Based in Odgers Berndtson’s Brussels office he undertakes high-level local and international assignments and has helped clients place leaders (CEOs, Director Generals, Board members) in corporates, trade associations, not-for-profits, and international organisations. He also leads on specialist professional services assignments - including legal, economics, strategic consulting, and public procurement (EU). In addition to his international search activities, he also heads the Odgers Berndtson EU Affairs Practice, which offers full-level recruitment support for Brussels based EU affairs offices. At the international level he is a member of the global corporate affairs and the global not-for-profit practices.
Before becoming a head-hunter in 2014, David provided consultancy, regulatory and political support to numerous corporates and international organisations. He has established networks in the media, energy, finance, transport, biotech, digital and life sciences industries and worked with corporates, national governments, trade associations and regulatory authorities throughout Europe and the US. He has also served as the Director of GLOBE International – a global parliamentary network tackling sustainability issues.
David is currently Chair of the Human Capital & Talent Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. A Belgian/British national, David has lived and worked at the heart of the EU for over 30 years and studied economics, politics, and international relations.
