Jean-Albert Nyssens

Jean-Albert Nyssens is an Executive Search and Leadership and Organisation Consultant in Odgers Berndtson’s Brussels office, where he heads the Consumer and Retail practice.

As Executive Search Consultant, Jean-Albert focuses on assignments at senior executive, C-suite and Board level.  He has deep expertise in consumer-facing companies, industrial and public sector organisations. He leverages his strong strategic consulting and investment background to work with leadership teams and Boards of clients of all sizes.

Jean-Albert brings thirty years of experience to his client work, having been a partner with McKinsey & Company (14 years) and EY (3 years) before becoming an entrepreneur, executive coach (Coach & Team) and organisational advisor.  
During that time, he worked in a number of industries across Europe and became a Board member of two investment funds (Theodorus and SRIW) and the Walloon Regional Export and Investment Agency (AWEX).

A Belgian national, Jean-Albert has studied business (Solvay Business School) and economics (MPhil Cambridge) and holds an MPA from Harvard University. He speaks French, Dutch and English fluently.
