Open to undergraduate students from universities and colleges, CEOx1Day provides the opportunity to spend a day shadowing a successful CEO.
Eligible* students must complete and submit an online application, which will be reviewed by executive search experts at Odgers Berndtson.

Evaluation: Applications will be evaluated on the breadth of relevant work, volunteer or extra-curricular experience, and the quality of your written answers.

*Eligibility: The programme is open to undergraduates studying a Bachelor's degree or equivalent at universities and colleges in the United Kingdom. Applicants must be available to come to our London office on the 26th or 28th February 2024 for the final assessment stage.
Students having successfully completed stage 1 will be asked to take an online Hogan assessment that profiles their skills, competencies and leadership potential.
Evaluation: Hogan has developed a custom leadership assessment for CEOx1Day applicants identifying confident and ambitious individuals, who handle stress effectively, are politically astute, dependable, and who value learning and developing new skills.
Online assessments take place in February 2024
Assessment time: 30 minutes
Applicants will be invited to a half-day assessment and interview session at Odgers Berndtson’s office in London, mirroring a real-life search process. This includes a one-on-one interview, a group activity and discussion, and the opportunity to network with Odgers Berndtson’s team of executive search experts.
Evaluation Criteria for Phase 3: Semi-finalists will be assessed on their ability to think on their feet and work in a group, reflecting how they will perform when paired with a CEO. The evaluation will take into account each applicants performance in activities like case studies, presentations, and in-person interviews.
Timing for Phase 3: 26th or 28th February 2024
Time Commitment: One-half day (+ travel time to Odgers Berndtson’s London office)
