Birgit Homburger

Birgit Homburger is a senior advisor to Odgers Berndtson.

Until 2016, she was an Associate Partner in the Public Services & Not for Profit and Energy & Utilities industry practices. Here she focused on filling management positions in the public sector, in non-profit organisations, in the supply and waste management industry and in the energy sector.

After studying administrative sciences at the University of Konstanz and working in human resources, she was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2013. From 2009 to 2011 she was also chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group.

Birgit Homburger has headed the capital office of the German Stock Institute in Berlin since 2016.
