David Greenwood

David Greenwood leads the Aviation, Tourism & Culture, Entertainment & Media, and Retail & Consumer Practice for the Middle East region, also being a member of the Global Corporate Communications team.

Starting his recruitment career in 2004, he relocated to Dubai in 2008, specializing in General Management roles with a focus on Sales and Marketing in the Retail & Consumer sectors. He has conducted numerous searches in customer-centric environments, spanning organizations from airlines to airports, museums to arenas, tourism boards to ministries, FMCG to Consumer Health, and the entire retail value chain. David specializes in various C-level functions such as CEO, COO, CCO, CFO, CHRO, functional leadership roles in both commercial and operations, as well as board positions. 

Before joining Odgers Berndtson, David served as a Director in an independent recruitment practice in Dubai. There, he established the Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Communications practices across the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, David held leadership positions in the UK and Dubai with a FTSE-listed global recruitment firm.
