Avani Garg

Avani joined Odgers Berndtson in August 2024, bringing with her over 11 years of talent acquisition experience in leadership hiring across various industries in India and Southeast Asia.

She began her career in 2007 at one of India’s premier executive search firms, where she spent nearly a decade specialising in the Consumer and Retail sectors. During this time, she also gained significant expertise in the FMCG, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, and Retail industries. Before joining Odgers Berndtson, Avani spent nearly two years with an international search firm, where she specialised in the financial services sector, particularly within banking and insurance.

She has significant experience in leadership hiring for multinational clients and Indian conglomerates spanning across India, APAC and Africa region. Throughout her career, Avani has successfully managed multiple complex assignments, consistently delivering strong results by effectively overseeing concurrent projects and influencing key stakeholders.

Avani holds an MBA degree in Human Resource from Amity University and a bachelor’s degree in B.Com from the University of Pune.
