Alex Hamilton-Baily

Alex Hamilton-Baily is a Partner at Odgers Berndtson and Head of the firm’s Legal & Professional Services Practice, based in London.

He has worked with the firm for over 15 years, specialising in Board level appointments and those who support them in the major accounting, law and strategy firms. This work sits across service lines and includes the most senior functional/business service roles as well as lateral hires. Functionally, Alex and the wider practice lead some of the most important General Counsel searches in the FTSE and large private businesses.

In addition, Alex has worked extensively with the major UK and international industry bodies and non-profits at Board level.

Alex was educated at University College London and enjoyed an early career in client services in financial services. Alex sits as a judge on the MCA (Management Consultancies Association) Awards, is a Trustee of the cancer charity Penny Brohn UK and has recently supported a governance committee of the British Mountaineering Council, a personal passion.
