Scott Eversman is a Partner at Odgers Berndtson, focused on empowering leaders in organizations driving Energy Transition.
With a notable track record at the executive and board levels with some of the world's largest energy companies, as well as with agile energy producers, clean tech innovators, and climate advocacy organizations, Scott brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. His goal is to help Odgers Berndtson build on our best in class Energy Practice, and cement our reputation as a trusted partner in navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by Energy Transition.
Before joining Odgers Berndtson, Scott led the Energy Practice at a significant executive search firm in the United States. Prior to that, he led the EMEA Division of the Energy & Natural Resources Practice at a major global firm, where he lived and worked from London for over 25 years. Scott has proven abilities to operate in complex, cross-cultural environments and with multi-national teams to deliver solutions to demanding and dynamic situations. He is a dedicated and outspoken advocate for strong corporate governance, ESG, sustainability, inclusive ethics and values and authentic engagement.
Scott holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Southern California. He studied Business & Climate Change: Towards Net-Zero Emissions with the University of Cambridge and holds a BA in Social Sciences from Central University of Iowa.
Outside of his professional life, Scott is an avid equestrian and spends his weekends riding with friends and family. He is deeply interested in philosophy, faith and international politics. Scott treasures family time with his four adult children and four grandchildren.
