Edwina Purcell

Edwina is a Principal in the Education Practice, based in London, where she specialises in executive and non-executive board appointments in higher education.

Edwina has a strong commitment to championing diversity in recruitment and she is a member of the Odgers Berndtson Diversity Council and is the Education Practice’s lead on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Prior to joining Odgers she worked as a Research Consultant in the commercial sector, delivering UK and international searches in retail and consumer, and assisting in the start-up of an executive search consultancy.

Following graduation, Edwina spent six months teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) in Yunnan Province, China. Edwina graduated from Newcastle University with a BA Hons in History and Politics.
