Kyle Mechar

Kyle Mechar is a Engagement Manager based in Toronto.

He specializes in governance and board of director searches as well as senior leadership searches across a range of functions, with a focus on the public/not-for-profit sector. He has been actively engaged in diversity initiatives over many years and is a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Kyle has spent more than a decade within executive search consulting, working closely with clients across all industries, from large, tier-one corporations to smaller, mid-market, private, subsidiary and spin-out companies. After completing graduate work, Kyle began his business career in corporate communications and public affairs at TMX Group (Toronto Stock Exchange).

Kyle holds a Ph.D. in Communications from Concordia University, an M.A. in Communications from McGill University, and a B.A. (Honors) in English from the University of Western Ontario.
