Lisa Karia is Chief People + Culture Officer at Odgers Berndtson Canada.
As a key member of the Canadian Senior Leadership Team, Lisa drives people and culture initiatives to enhance performance, foster growth, and boost employee engagement. She leads the implementation of best practices in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and organizational culture. Lisa also provides strategic guidance to leaders across the firm, engaging with teams and colleagues to support the firm’s strategic imperatives within a values-led culture.
With over 25 years of leadership experience in industries including banking, telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, retail and start-ups, Lisa has supported and coached companies to achieve their business objectives through her human resources expertise.
A Certified Human Resources Leader, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College. She is also dedicated to mentoring through the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) and supporting new grads and early career candidates within her community.
