Sameer Chauhan

Sameer is a Principal in the Legal & Professional Services Practice. He joined Odgers Berndtson's London office in 2023 from a specialist legal search boutique where he built, grew, and headed the business’ In-House Sponsor Side Financial Services offering.

He has over a decade of experience partnering with leading Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Growth Equity, Infrastructure, Sovereign Wealth, Ultra High Net Worth Family, and Hedge funds, as well as their portfolio companies (such as crypto, fintech, deep-tech, autonomous vehicles, quantum computing businesses, and more). 

Sameer focuses on General Counsel/Partner level appointments and is trusted to build out the wider legal teams in the industries he covers, due to his deep network of in-house and private practice lawyers at various levels.

Through his comprehensive network and understanding of the markets he operates in, Sameer regularly advises on diversity panels and hosts networking events for lawyers and operating partners within Venture Capital, Private Credit, and Private Equity. Moreover, he regularly advises on strategic networking, succession planning, and acts as a trusted advisor to his network at all levels of seniority. Though Sameer focuses on in-house appointments, he has a deep and trusted Law Firm Partner network, and can link this with his clients to provide opportunities for industry experts to share knowledge, network, and link up with leading individuals in his sector to add value in the markets he operates in.
