Peter W. Schineller

Mr. Schineller was Managing Director with a boutique executive search firm dedicated to the Life Science segment prior to assuming his role as Partner and Head of the US Life Science Practice. 

Before entering the Executive Search field, Mr. Schineller spent 25+ years in the Life Sciences with a focus spanning the pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic segments. 

Mr. Schineller has held key leadership positions in virtually all the functional areas found in commercial pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotech organisations. This experience affords him the unique ability to understand all that is required to lead a high performing organisation. He also has significant commercial launch experience, having managed the pre and post launch of more than 7 newly approved products.  Additionally, he has been responsible for the creation of numerous sales and marketing organisations.  He has broad experience operating in large cap through early-stage organisations to include the co-founding of a start-up that raised more than $150M in venture funding.  As a result of this experience, he truly understands the dynamics associated with being a member of a Life Science focused leadership team and the importance of identifying high quality talent.

Peter is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a dual major in Political Science and History.  He is also a former Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps where he attained the rank of Captain.  Mr. Schineller is the father of two boys and resides in S. California with his wife of 30 years.
