Jo Mortimer

Jo handles executive appointments for HR professionals across sectors, based in London.

Jo works with a wide range of FTSE 350 and Fortune 500 clients, as well as private equity backed, publicly funded, and privately owned businesses. She covers a broad range of sectors including retail, leisure, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, travel, construction, defence, energy, and consumer goods.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Jo was a consultant at a boutique Executive Search firm, where she specialised in HR. Previously, she led Talent within the same business, with accountability for Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Succession Planning, and DE&I. Before moving into HR, Jo was a fee earner and Director at Angela Mortimer PLC, where she built and led a recruitment team. Jo began her career in education.

Jo holds a PGCE and graduated with a first in Experimental Psychology from Cambridge University.
